The family of Percy Terpstra wishes to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation for the many thoughts and prayers shown to us during this time of Dad’s passing.

Thank you to Eastwood and the caregivers who became very special to Dad. We are forever grateful to Lisa and staff for the care and compassion they have for all their residents. Dad was very aware of their love and concern for him, and he so enjoyed their sense of humor and quick smiles. His short stay at Delano was also filled with great care and compassion for which the family is very thankful.

Thank you to Akkerman-Ingebrand Funeral Home for guiding us through the process with patience, compassion and efficiency.

Thank you to Pastor Joe for a wonderful message on how to “Run It to Win It” and how Dad is now part of the Cloud of Witnesses that encourage us to be ready to enter eternity. Thank you to Pastor Bob (son-in-law) for being Dad’s loving pastor for the past 38 years. Thank you to Bob, Michelle Seefeld, Bethany Sjodin and Michelle Reed for providing the music that Dad had chosen. It was beautiful. Thank you to Barbi at Sticks and Stems for the lovely floral arrangements.

Dad was so proud of his girls, their husbands, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was very much a part of their lives. He loved his Sovereign God, his church family, his country and was a good friend and mentor to many. Dad was “Grandpa” to some special “adopted” granddaughters and was always ready with a hug and kind word.

Dad will be missed tremendously but we are so very thankful for the beautiful heritage he has given us.

Diane (Dave) Norman, Delaine Sawyer, Sandy (Bob) DeYoung, Bev (Dallas) Tvedt, Brenda (Dan) Trongard and their families
