State and local fire fighters spent several hours late Monday battling a large grass fire in South Fork Township, just south of Ogilvie.
Reports first came into emergency dispatchers just before 5 p.m.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources called in several air units to battle the blaze, and flames were all but extinguished by 10 p.m.
No initial reports of injuries or structure loss have been received as of this posting. A cause is unknown at this time.
