Tonight's preliminary election results show both questions of the Mora Public School bond referendum failed. 

Question 1: Shall the school board of Independent School District No. 332 (Mora Public Schools) be authorized to issue its general obligation school building bonds in an amount not to exceed $19,335,000 to provide funds for the acquisition and betterment of school sites and facilities, including the construction and equipping of a grades 7 and 8 addition to the Trailview site and facility and related improvements?

  • Yes: 1,618
  • No: 1,684

Question 2: If School District Question 1 is approved, shall the school board of Independent School District No. 332 (Mora Public Schools) also be authorized to issue its general obligation school building bonds in an amount not to exceed $39,865,000 to provide funds for the acquisition and betterment of school sites and facilities, including the construction and equipping of a grades 9 through 12 addition to the Trailview site and facility and related improvements; and the demolition or sale of the existing high school site and facility?
