Monday, Oct. 19: At approximately 5:12 p.m. the Mora Area Fire Department was called to Wood Street in Mora where an alarm was sounding on the upper level of the home. The crew entered the home with full PPE and a gas meter. No levels were detected in the home. The alarm was over 10 years old so the MAFD recommended replacing all alarms in the home.

Tuesday, Oct. 20: At approximately 5:03 p.m. the Mora Area Fire Department was called to Hwy 65 in Whited Township to investigate a wood boiler that was smoking. No action was taken.

Tuesday, Oct. 20: At approximately 5:20 p.m. the Mora Area Fire Department was called to 270th Ave in Brook Park  where a vehicle was fully engulfed in fire. The vehicle had slid off the road due to inclement conditions. A tow was called and when it was being moved, the car started on fire.

Saturday, Oct. 24: At approximately 12:23 a.m. the Mora Area Fire Department was called to Park St. in Mora  where a carbon monoxide alarm was sounding after a power surge. The MAFD checked all floors and used an FD detector but found no carbon monoxide.
