Minnesotans are required to wear face coverings an all public indoor spaces and businesses to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Governor Tim Walz announced on July 22 Executive Order 20-81 mandating Minnesotans to wear a mask effective July 25.

Research has shown that use of face coverings is a simple and effective step to slow the spread of COVID-19, especially when combined with other prevention efforts such as social distancing and hand washing.

Types of face coverings can include a paper or disposable mask, a cloth mask, a neck gaiter, a scarf, a bandanna or a religious face covering. The face covering must cover the nose and mouth completely.

This is a one-time effort and it will be first come, first serve. Contact Jenna, moraareachamber@gmail.com, at the chamber to get a supply.  Please make sure your business has updated your COVID-19 Preparedness Plan to address the face covering requirements to align with the requirements of the Executive Order.
