This week Mora and Ogilvie schools enjoyed a rare visit by Iron Man. He greeted the principals, staff and visited classrooms.

Leaders from each school said, “With the ups and downs of the school year due to COVID-19 Iron Man brought a timely morale boost to our school.”

Teachers and students were excited and in awe when Iron Man walked into the classrooms. Students were smiling and teachers were taking pictures with their class. Iron Man reminded the teachers, “You are the real heroes making a difference in your city.”

Pastor Steve Ekholm, Living Hope Church, sponsored Iron Man’s visit. Each year their church does something special in the neighborhood they live in to bless the community. Due to COVID-19 they couldn’t have inflatables and their popcorn stand. One day Pastor Steve was praying about what to do different; he got an idea to get an authentic super hero costume so kids can take pictures while they trick or treat and got permission to visit the schools.
