A woman standing on the edge of Highway 65 at the Snake River Bridge in Mora was struck by a vehicle and killed early in the morning Monday, Aug. 3. 

According to the Minnesota State Patrol incident report, Alicia Ann Storms, 36 of Mora was standing near at the fog line when she was struck by a passing vehicle at approximately 5:05 a.m.

The driver of the vehicle, Summer Rae Luedke, 26, of Princeton, was not injured in the crash. She was wearing a seatbelt. Road conditions were dry; alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash. 

The Minnesota State Patrol and Kanabec County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
