Mora city-owned playgrounds are re-opening after being  blocked off since March 27. 


Mora will be re-opening city playgrounds as early as 8 a.m. Wednesday, June 3 after a decision by the Mora City Council during a special meeting June 2. 

The city encouraged patrons to follow the following guidelines for using the playgrounds: 

Ensure children wash and/or sanitize hands before and after playground use. Do not use park if you are sick. 

Social distancing must always be practiced. 

Do not meet with members of a different household

Follow CDC guidelines for playgrounds. 

The city reopened sporting amenities on June 1 like the Jaycee Ballfields, tennis courts, basketball courts and skate/bike park.
