Each of Mrs. Falen’s 200-plus kindergarten through fifth grade art students designed a pre-made six and one half inch tall human child tesselation form to represent themselves. Students were asked how they wanted to show who they are and what they enjoy while filling in the inside of their human form. Favorite colors, patterns, foods, hobbies, places and sports were some of the ideas you may find in this project.

A tesselation is a shape that can be repeated over and over again and fit together perfectly, without any overlapping or gaps.  All the projects were hung together in the Ogilvie School’s elementary hallway for a group installation piece.
