On Sunday, Sept. 15, at approximately 3:13 p.m., a Harley Davidson motorcycle was south bound on Highway 65 at 145th Avenue when it lost control, went down on to the pavement and came to a stop in the northbound ditch.
Driver Brian Bertel, 46 of Osseo, and passenger Caryn Franchuk-Bertel, 57, of Osseo were taken to North Memorial hospital with non-life threatening injuries. According to the State Patrol incident report, neither were wearing helmets.
Rollover inflicts life-threatening injuries
On Tuesday, Sept. 17, at approximately 8:20 a.m. a 2004 Saturn Vue was traveling east on Highway 23 at 180th Avenue when it crossed the centerline, and over corrected, causing the vehicle to go off road to the right and rolled.
The passenger, Lemiracle Equanis Funchess, 20, of Ogilvie was ejected from the vehicle and taken to North Memorial hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver was Kandee Rashaun Moran, 20, of Ogilvie. She was taken to North Memorial hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to the State Patrol incident report, neither were wearing seatbelts.
