Lanie Jianette Zimney, of Ogilvie, died on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2020. She was 29 years old.

She was born on March 10, 1991 in Kansas City, Missouri to David and Nancy (Engel) Korb. She attended Wannaska Elementary School, Malung Grade School, Roseau High School and graduated from Grygla High School in 2009. She then went to the School of Hair for cosmetology. She was united in marriage to Allan Zimney, and the couple raised their family in Ogilvie. 

She enjoyed dog breeding, selling goldfish, painting, makeup, nails, hair, crafting, singing, home remodeling and horseback riding.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Korb.

She is survived by her husband, Allan Zimney; children, Ava, Noah, August and Raylin; mother, Nancy Engel of Roseau; sisters, Hannah and Angelina of Roseau; brothers, Curtis and Parker of Roseau; as well as other relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held on Monday, Oct. 12, 2020 at Helgeson Funeral Chapel in Roseau. Arrangements by Dresser-Methven Funeral Home, Mora.
