Nori Jo (Evenson) Johansen, of St. Michael, died on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019. She was 63 years old.

She was born in Minneapolis, on Jan. 17, 1956, to Noris and Sally (Bedore) Evenson. Nori and her family then moved to Colorado in her earlier years, where she then graduated from high school in Arvada with the class of 1974. She briefly attended Red Rock College.

She worked for several trucking companies throughout Colorado before moving to St. Michael about seven years ago.

She loved hiking with friends in the Colorado outdoors, enjoyed crafts and was a lover of animals of all kinds–especially cats. She would spend her free time reading, putting together jigsaw puzzles and work on the daily crossword puzzle.

She was preceded in death by her father, Noris.

She is survived by her mother, Sally; brother, Brad; special cousins, Judy Roschlien, Cindy Evenson and Paul Evenson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept.21, 2019 at Life in Christ Lutheran Church in Albertville, Minnesota, with visitation one hour prior.
