Paul Arthur Lemke died on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021 at his home in Mora. He was 64 years old.

He was born on Oct. 21, 1956 in Minneapolis, to Howard and Margaret (Tholen) Lemke. He was raised in Cologne. He graduated from high school in Norwood Young America and then graduated from Mankato State University with a degree in accounting. He later transitioned to computer programming and information technology.  On Sept. 10, 1982 he was united in marriage to Deborah Ehalt. They lived in Pine Island, Chisago City and moved to Mora in 2004 where they remained.

He followed in the family tradition of being a passionate duck hunter and enjoyed fishing and deer hunting. He especially looked forward to his North Dakota outings with his nephews and great nephews.  He also enjoyed trap and skeet shooting, woodworking and he loved Ford 8N tractors. He worked at Land O’ Lakes for 37 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Margaret Lemke; stepfather, Ray Blissenbach and brother, Michael Lemke.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Lemke; sister-in-law, Kaylene Lemke; brothers and sisters, Sandra and Donald Koller, Joan and David Koller, Susan and Dr. Norman Penix and Mark and Ann Lemke; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
