Ramon “Ray” John Ring, of Richfield, Minnesota, died at his cabin in Mora on Monday, Nov. 4, 2019. He was 87 years old.

He was born on June 28, 1932, in Windom to Arthur and Mable Ring. After attending Windom High School he joined the Army. When he returned from service he was united in marriage to Harriett Hugos and they made their home in Richfield. He worked at the Ford Plant in St. Paul for 35 years.

He loved fishing and hunting. He enjoyed being at the cabin in Mora and going to the Club (Springbrook Golf Course) where he loved to golf and socialize. “The Legend” will be greatly missed by all at Springbrook.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Harriett Ring; his parents, Arthur and Mable Ring; and brothers, Darwin Ring and Rodney Ring.

He is survived by daughters, Karen Lange of Minneapolis and Brenda Ring of Minneapolis; brother, Gary Ring of Minneapolis; son-in-law, Robert Lange of Minneapolis; and nieces and nephews in Windom, and Milwaukee.

There will be a celebration of life held from 12-4 p.m. at Springbrook Golf Course on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019.
