Robin Schimming, died on Monday, July 20, 2020, at her home in Columbia, Missouri, as a result of complications of diabetes. She was 45 years old.

She attended Pine City High School, and later graduated from the University of Missouri with degrees in history and education. She taught at Boys and Girls Town and public schools in Missouri. As her health declined she tutored college students.

She loved animals, outdoors and especially being around water. She was a devoted mother to her three children and took great pride in their accomplishments. 

She is survived by her daughters, Tiana (Jourdon Hunter), Bailey  (Jeff Campbell); son, Demetrius; mother, Terry Caroon; step father, Bob Kunesh; father, Dennis Schimming; brothers, Lyman, Elliot, Nick; brother-in-law, Michael; grandmother, Ella Caroon; special friend, Byron McAllister; as well as many other family members and friends.

A brief graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Lewis Cemetery, Lewis, Wisconsin on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2020. An open house for fellowship and remembrance will be held at her mother’s house across the road from the cemetery immediately afterward.
