S. Smith

Sharene Lynn Smith, of Ogilvie, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020 at the U of M Hospital in Minneapolis. She was 36 years old.

She was born in Robbinsdale to Jody Neros and Curtis Dahlberg. She attended Linwood Elementary School and then attended high school at Cambridge/Isanti. She graduated in 2002.

She started dating the love of her life, David Smith in 2003. They were united in marriage on Sept. 17, 2005. The couple made their home in Isanti until 2008.  They had two beautiful children Bradley and Hailey.  In 2008 they moved to Mora. They made Mora their home for over eight years. After her husband passed away in 2016, she and the kids moved to Ogilvie.

She enjoyed playing bingo and cards. Over the last few years she also made a hobby of playing darts where she met many new friends. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.  Bradley and Hailey were the light of her life. Her laugh and sassy attitude will certainly be missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Smith; grandparents, Sherry Neros, Carol Dahlberg Anderson, Carl Dahlberg and Sherwood Anderson.

She is survived by her children Bradley and Hailey Smith; parents, Jody Neros and Curtis (Patty) Dahlberg; siblings, Candice (Ben) Gordon, Jake (Megan) Gordon, Bryan (Megan) Dahlberg, Travis Sutton, Jennifer (Josh) Dahlberg, Kelly (Adam) Dahlberg; grandfather, Craig Neros; many other family and friends. 

A graveside service and inurnment will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020 at the Graceland Cemetery in Ogilvie with a gathering of family and friends to follow at the Ogilvie Community Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family. Arrangements are by the Akkerman Ingebrand Funeral Home of Mora. Condolences may be posted online at www.aifuneralhome.com.
