William (Bill) Hamlin, of Cambridge, died unexpectedly on Friday, Aug. 2, 2019, while camping with his family. He was 47 years old.

He was born Sept. 28, 1971, in Robbinsdale to William and Nancy (Anderson) Hamlin. He grew up in Coon Rapids and then made his home in Pine City before moving to Cambridge. He was united in marriage to Jean Kaeter on March 16, 2019, in Minneapolis. He was an owner-operator truck driver and was currently working for Cyndi Ray Transportation. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. 

He was preceded in death by his father, William Hamlin in 1997 and his brother, Terry Anderson.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Hamlin, Cambridge; children, Nicholas (Tessa Hansen) Engler, Clear Lake, Christopher Hamlin, Waite Park, Hailey Rosenberger, Cambridge, Maci Rosenberger, Cambridge, Parker Hamlin, Cambridge; mother, Nancy Hamlin, St. Cloud; brothers and sisters, Charles (Dawn) Marvets, Round Lake, Texas, Anthony (Julie) Marvets, Lakeville, Joel (Randy) Heintz, Afton, Oklahoma, Tammy Storms, Waite Park and Karla (Bradley) Olson, Milaca.

Services celebrating his life will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019, at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home Chapel in St. Cloud. Friends and family may gather from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home in St. Cloud.
