Bernice M. (Kleven) Unger died Saturday, April 26, 2008, surrounded by her family and friends at the Villa Health Care Center in Mora. She was 93 years old. She had resided at the Villa Health Care Center for the past nine months.

She was born on Oct. 16, 1914, in Ogilvie to Samuel and Mildred (Mowry) Ziegler. She resided in Ogilvie, Bock, Mora and worked many years at the Mora Red Owl Store and Milaca Mills.

On March 24, 1934, she was united in marriage to Alvin Kleven. On May 4, 1968, she was united in marriage to Clifford Unger.

She enjoyed makings quilts, baking cookies for all her friends, playing Yahtzee and cards. She loved visiting with her children, grandchildren and sisters. She was a member of the Mora United Methodist Church and The Golden Treasures.
