Local teen selected to compete in pageant
Korisa Lindquist

Korisa Lindquist, an eighth-grade student at Mora High School, has been selected as a state finalist to participate in the national American Miss Pageant for her home state of Minnesota.

The pageant takes place later this summer, on June 28 and 29, and Korisa is currently looking for a business from Mora to sponsor her. Sponsors will have their business featured beside Lindquist’s photo in the state program book, and costs are tax deductible as an advertising expense.

Lindquist said she’s excited to learn and develop empowering poise and self-confidence by participating in the pageant, skills she believes will help her in whatever she chooses to do in life.

Interested potential sponsors are asked to contact her mother, Tammy, at (763) 221-4136.
