Antique tractor enthusiasts gather for ride in Ogilvie

Ogilvie's Third Annual Antique Tractor ride Saturday morning featured some of farming's nostalgic dinosaurs long ago put out to pasture.

Participants hailed from throughout the state and region - some traveling as far as from Albert Lea and Sommerset, WI for Saturday's ride.

A total of 27 tractors motored Kanabec County's back roads this year - more than double the 13 featured in the inaugural ride in 2006.

The tractors made a now traditional stop at the Villa Health Care Center in Mora, where residents were given a chance to again get up close and

personal with machines many remembered fondly from their youth.

In all, the ride covered 24 miles of local roadway.
