Taytum Klink, Mora Girls Track and Field, senior

Sprinter and long jumper on Mora track and field team.

Tell us about the sports and activities you are involved in: Through my high school career I’ve participated in cross country, basketball, Nordic skiing and track and field.

What is your favorite thing about being involved in sports?: The friends you make are probably the most supportive and positive people you’ll meet in high school. It’s also a way to get your mind off things and just have a good time with a hard workout.

Tell us about a person who has influenced you: Michelle Ostien, she’s always been a really consistent support system throughout my high school career. We get along really well.

What is the highlight of your athletic career?: Recently signing with Southwest Minnesota State University to continue running at the college level.

With spring practices and games suspended, how are you staying active?: I’ve been spending time outside doing random things and doing the workouts the coaches email us.

What are some of your goals for the future?: Attending a four year university majoring in exercise science and minoring in coaching education.

From the coach Chris Goebel: Taytum is a senior that recently just signed with SMSU in Marshall to attend college and compete in track and field. She has had an incredible career for Mora. She has competed in many State meets and has been an extremely hard worker! She has left a great legacy for Mora Track and Field.
