University of Wisconsin-Stout libero Steph Cannon was named as an honorable mention selection to the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-American team.
Cannon finished the season with 668 digs, first in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and 20th in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III. She was the WIAC defensive player of the year, selected to the All-WIAC first team, a member of the all-defensive team and was the WIAC Judy Kruckman Scholar-Athlete recipient. She was a first-team AVCA All-Midwest Region selection. Cannon finished her career with a school all-time best 2232 digs.
Cannon is the first UW-Stout volleyball athlete named All-America since 2004 when Brooke Viegut and Tanille Zenner-Hartwig were chosen.
