After receiving a forfeit win in their final regular season game Ogilvie ended its successful regular season with a record of 7-1. When this edition of the Times goes to press the Lions will have already played their first round section playoff game against Onamia. That game will have taken place on Tuesday, Oct. 22. Ogilvie enters the playoffs as the number two seed in the section. If the Lions won their game on Tuesday they will host a second round playoff game on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 3:00 p.m. against the winner of Nicollet and Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart. During the regular season Ogilvie defeated Onamia 52-0 while Nicollet defeated Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart 22-14. The Lions did not play either of those teams during the regular season.
