The 2019-2020 season came to an end at the state individual tournament this year. Dominic Adams and Connor Gmahl wrestled in the state individual tournament this past weekend. The boys wrestled their best, but drew some tough competition.

Dom Adams won his first match 6-5 against Austin Siefert from Chisago Lakes. Then he lost by fall to Quayin Short of Simley. Finally, he lost 5-1 to Spencer Wambeke of Marshal. Dom finishes his season 38-12.

Connor Gmahl lost his first match to Austin Gabbert of Windom 12-0 (the eventual state runner-up). In the wrestle backs Connor lost 5-2 to Ethan Anderson of Becker. Connor finishes his season 38-11. Congratulations to both boys on an excellent season.

The Mustangs wrestling season came to an end with an 18-6 overall record, and a 5-1 record in Granite Ridge Conference.

The Mustangs lose Parker Voss, Nolan Berry, and Caleb Koch to graduation. However, we return a strong group of experienced underclassmen. Next year looks very bright for Mustang Wrestling.
