From the coach: It was a major hit to these girls because the majority of these girls were coming off a very successful basketball season and were excited to take that winning culture into the softball program this spring. The weather has been beautiful, and we would have been able to get all of our games in and possibly even on our home field which we have only been able to play on a handful of times in the senior’s career due to the wet springs we have had the past couple years.

On her seniors, Coach Bester said, “I became interim head coach when these ladies were in eighth grade. They have been with me through all the changes I have been trying to make. Maddie came into the program as a sophomore and became our main pitcher for her sophomore and junior seasons. Although Cori was injured and wasn’t going to be able to see the field, she was a leader that was looking forward to helping the player that would take on third base. Kelsi was our second baseman last year and improved so much. She had one of the highest on base percentages and was always willing to put in 110%. Telscha was a utility player, playing mostly right field last year and was always willing to help out when someone wanted to come in and pitch in the mornings. All four will be greatly missed.
