Cathedral High School in St. Cloud was the host school this year for the annual Granite Ridge Conference Art Show. The eight schools in the conference who are invited to attend this show are: Albany, Cathedral, Foley, Little Falls, Milaca, Mora, Pierz and Zimmerman. Mora art teacher, Lee Ann Falen, brought 21 students on a field trip to see the show in person on Thursday, April 28.

Freshman Allison Briggle received first place for this project called “Be on the Wing” at the Granite Ridge Conference Art Show.
Judges gave out only first and second place medals in very few categories. Mora High School had two projects chosen to earn an award. Freshman Allison Briggle earned first place in 2-D Mixed Media for her bird-themed project titled “Be On the Wing.” Junior Maddie Benner earned second place in Sculpture for her ceramic frog-themed piece titled “Interdimensional Frog.”
