Gregory (Greg) Allen Brockner of Mora, lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023, while at home surrounded by his family. He was 70 years old.
Greg was born on March 31, 1952, to Joseph and Norma (Moline)Brockner in Mora. In 1970, Greg graduated from Mora High School. He was a go getter and spent most of his life being self employed as an auto mechanic. On Feb. 18, 1985, Greg was united in marriage to his best friend, LuAnn Engblom.Â
Throughout his life Greg had many interests and hobbies that kept him busy. If he wasn’t in the garage tinkering and fixing things, you could find Greg working on his classic cars, snowmobiling, creating sculptures or spending time at his cabin.Â
Whenever Greg had a free moment, he loved to go on road trips and would end up in one of his favorite places, Nemo, South Dakota, part of The Black Hills. Anyone that knew Greg, knew that he was a practical joker, always having something up his sleeve, keeping everyone on their toes. It was no wonder that his nickname was Sneaky.
Greg was preceded in death by his father, Joe (Carol-stepmother); mother, Norma (Kenny Olson-stepfather); brother, Benji; sister, Trudy; son, Jason; and grandson, Xander.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 38 years, LuAnn; children, Justin (Candice) of Mora and Angie (Jeff Synder) of Greeley, Colorado; grandchildren, Ezra, Ellis, Everett Brockner and Xavier, Xylah Snyder.
A celebration of life will be held for Greg later in 2023.
Arrangements by Dresser Methven Funeral and Cremation Services of Mora, MN.
