Ronald Lee Udean died on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021, at Welia Hospital in Mora, at the age of 68.

He was born on Oct 26, 1953. He graduated from Mora High School in 1971 and then attended culinary school in St. Paul. He worked at many restaurants in the local area, and after retirement, he enjoyed volunteering at One More Time thrift store. He loved to fish and looked forward to the annual deer hunt with the overnights at the Mouse House. He always had a laugh or a smile.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Arlene (Peterson) Udean; and grandparents, George and Mildred Udean and Enard and Christine Peterson.

He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Southwick; grandson, Ryu Southwick; brother, Jerry (Annette); sister, Kari Vander Lugt; and many family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, at the Dresser-Methven Funeral Home in Mora. Please stop by at any point during this time to pay your respects to Ron.
