The work session of the Board of Education of Independent School District 332, Mora, Minnesota, was called to order by Board Chair Scott Moe at 5:00 p.m. and began with the Pledge of Allegiance. At roll call Board Members present were: Board Chair Scott Moe, Board Clerk Deb Hallin, Vice Chair/Treasurer Matt Heggernes, Amy Schultz, Dakota Helmbrecht, Ken Mattson. Also in attendance were Superintendent Dan Voce, Executive Assistant/Finance Assistant Kelly Fischer, and ICS Project Manager Evan Johnson.
Motion to approve the agenda was made by Helmbrecht, seconded by Hallin, motion passed unanimously.
Superintendent Voce presented information regarding the background of construction of the new high school and reviewed construction budget items.
Evan Johnson presented information to bring new board members up to speed regarding past items on the construction of the new highschool. He also presented information on current and upcoming construction and budget items for the completion of the new high school and demolition of the old high school.
Further discussion was held by board members and staff members regarding the review of construction and construction budget.
A motion to adjourn was made by Heggernes, and duly seconded by Mattson. The motion passed unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 6:41 p.m.
