PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER A TEXT AMENDMENT TO THE CITY’S ZONING ORDINANCE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Mora, Minnesota will conduct a Public Hearing at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Mora City Hall located at 101 Lake Street S., Mora, MN 55051.

This public hearing is for the purpose of considering various Text Amendments pertaining to day care facilities to the City of Mora Code of Ordinances, Title XV Land Usage, Chapter 150 Zoning Code, including:

• R-1 Single Family Residential District, Section 150.061 Permitted Uses, Section 150.162 Conditional Uses, and Section 150.064 Accessory Uses; 

• R-2 Manufactured Home Park District, Section 150.077 Conditional Uses;

• R-3 Multiple Dwelling District, Section 150.091 Permitted Uses, 150.092 Conditional Uses, 150.094 Accessory Uses;

• R-4 Low Density Residential District, Section 150.116 Permitted Uses, 150.117 Conditional Uses, Section 150.119 Accessory Uses; 

• Section 150.503 Minimum Parking Requirements, Subsection (A) Residential Uses; and 

• Section 150.002 Definitions.

The existing and proposed ordinances are available on the City’s website, www.ci.mora.mn.us (links provided on the homepage), and at City Hall during regular business hours.

Any person may offer testimony, either orally at the meeting or by letter to the City of Mora Planning Commission, in support of or in opposition to the subject matter. However, in an effort to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, any person wishing to provide testimony is encouraged to submit their testimony in writing. Written testimony should be addressed to the City of Mora Planning Commission and sent to 101 Lake Street S., Mora, MN 55051 or mnolan@sehinc.com and received no later than Friday, December 10, 2021.
