Knife Lake Township Planning Commission

The Knife Lake Township Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at the Knife Lake Township town hall located at 2013 260th Ave, Mora. The purpose of this hearing is to consider an Amended Conditional Use Permit application submitted by Overland Group, LLC with regard to a Dollar General store located in Knife Lake Township PID #10.00715.00 located on Hwy 65. The application for an Amended Conditional Use Permit requests an amendment to (1) the hours of operation and (2) the signage for the store, specifically allowing the placement of a lighted, double-faced sign with sign faces measuring 5 feet by 10 feet and a total height of 20 feet (15 feet of clearance between ground and bottom of sign), a lighted building sign measuring 4 feet 6 inches by 33 feet 3 inches, and a temporary unlighted job site sign measuring 4 feet by 8 feet that will be removed upon completion of construction.

All interested persons are invited to attend this hearing to be heard on the matter.
