The Mora baseball team (4-6) wrapped up a tough week, losing to Foley, Zimmerman, Pierz and Two Harbors, but beat Crosby-Ironton on Saturday, May 7, in Crosby. Nathan Nelson took the mound and had another unbelievable performance; 17 strikeouts, one walk, one hit-by-pitch and one earned run allowed. He improved his record to 2-1 on the season. Nelson also led the team offensively with two hits. Folkema, Siems, Hatch, McGaw and Szoka each had hits for Mora for a 6-1 victory over Crosby-Ironton. 

Up Next: The Mustangs host Little Falls at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, in Quamba. Then they host St. Cloud Cathedral at 5 p.m. in Quamba on Friday, May 13, for another 5:00 p.m. start. At 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, Milaca comes to town for a showdown in Quamba.
