Ogilvie senior captain, Rhett Hudoba.

Ogilvie’s wrestling coach Adam Halvorson said this season will be all about teaching wrestlers self-discipline and goal setting as they prepare to face some tough opponents:

Describe the makeup of this year’s varsity team:

We have only one senior on the team but a large group of juniors, sophomores and freshmen. We have many wrestlers with varsity experience.

What are the team’s goals and priorities this season?

We would like to repeat as Great River Conference champions and send as many individuals to state as possible.

How are your opponents looking this year? What schools do you believe will be the most challenging competitors?

Mille Lacs is a tough opponent in the conference and Royalton is a tough opponent in the section.

What do you hope these young athletes will take away from their sports experience?

We hope to have a lot of fun while improving as wrestlers. Successful wrestlers will learn self-discipline and how to set and pursue goals.
